Final Say

Well last night was a big one for both summer planning and in sports. 2 game 7's in hockey and 2 potential elimination games in basketball. SportSCenter was good with those cheerios!

More importantly though, and probably the reason why your here, i know the EXACT DATES of the Big Trip back. DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO BE FREE THAT WEEK FOR PARTIES!! Actually it's 10 days and my prediction was correct. The week that I will be in EG, RI issssss..... from the dates July 1st- July 10th!!!! It's gonnna be greeeat! There is a snag though, i need places to live during this stretch of time. ANY OFFERS?

One more thing before i go.... i've only got 24 more days of school! haha!

OK I'VE GOT SOME STUFF!

Well 1st off, tomorrow night is the Douglas Eagles Football Family night so i'm pumped for that. Spring training, once again, starts Friday! Super pumped for that. And nowwwwwww........


I AM BOOKED TO COME TO EG!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom has yet to disclose the dates of said event but it is rumored to be near the begnning of july.

I figured because of how they just played they deserve a post! The Boston Bruins just finished wiping the ice with the Habs with a 5-1 win. They're leading the series 2 games to none and as i quote...

Weekend!!!

Well I'm pretty sure we're all glad the weekend is here (except for you specific ppl on spring break). I just want to get alllllll my excitement out now, YAY THE BRUINS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS AND ARE UP 1-0 IN THE SERIES AGAINST THE HABS! AND THE JAYS ARE ALSO DOMINATING (8-4)! PLUS THE REDSKINS COULD POSSIBLY GET SANCHEZ!
Still not to sure bout him but whatever. Thank you for sticking with me long enough to get that out.

Another week gone by in the 08-09 school year and it was.... as easy as the rest. Only 7 more weeks til the biggest vacation of the year! I personally will be spending most of it in the sunshine state but I will be up in EG at one point, Vermont and Canada at another (obviously not at the same time). It's gonna be great!

Of course, something I am looking forward to FAR more than summer vacation is spring training (for football, not baseball)!!! Starting May 1st the douglas football team will be beginnig to throw on the pads in front of college scouts in preparation for a season preview, The annual Spring game. This year we're playing @ Everglades High on the 21st. It's gonna beast!

Well I'm off to bed before a decently busy day tomorrow. Still yet to recive any questions about the new life. hit me up!!

MERRY FRIDAY!

Apologies and Florida

Obviously I seemed to neglet the fact that I do indeed have a blog that people occasionally check, and to those people, I apologize. For some reason, I missed a couple days b/c of the absence of a computer connection/ a computer during and a bit after the move, those days turned into weeks and i just forgot. During this brain fart period tho, i did recive a Laptop for my b-day so i have brought it upon myself to pick this up again.

If i remember correctly, the last time i did this was the week of my 1st day of school. Well here's a quick summary of what went down.

• I CRUISED through the quarter. i had i science test the week after i got there... 98%. In 2 classes i haven't lost a point :D. But seriously, keep up with ur schoolwork up there b/c if u build good habits it carries through life, i can tell.
• New school is Stoneman Douglas High (www.douglashigh.com), it has 3400 students, 1000+ classrooms, 56 portables. It is ranked a 98/100 in the state of florida, in RI, i'd put it at a 19/100. Kids are much dumber here, 1000 times the drugs/ drinking and smoking, and there are LEGIT fights everyday. Definatly a huge change from EGHS.
• Yes i have made new friends, STOP ASKING! Every1 thinks i'm socially retarded up there or something, sheesh!
• House is really starting to come together. I got Redskins Colors on my wall (photo to be posted on facebook; coming soon). Oh yeah, the pool feels veeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry niceee on these 75-85 degree days. hehehe :P
• Pretty much everyday (except weekends and wednesdays) i have been staying after school with the football team in the weight room. Yeah, i'm pumping iron and getting ripped!! lol. Yes this is a state-of-the-art weight room and EGHS's has got nothing on this one. Football is pretty serious down here. The HIGH SCHOOLS have spring football games like all the colleges. The douglas football team has 12 coaches including a WR's coach who once played in the NFL!!! It's preeeettty cool.

Registering Tomorrow

Well tomorrow is the big day... almost. I'm going in and registering to "be a part of the school", so says the paper about it. Haha. Well another normal day down in Florida, any questions or ..... anything, go ahead and comment/ ask.

FINALLY!!!

Well finally I got a computer! I had to wait forever til I could get on here. Since it's been a while I'll break it down day by day.

Tuesday
The flight was long and uneventful. I put my ipod in my ear and my head on my pillow and pretty much just sat there drifting in and out the entire flight. Then when we finally got to the house, nothing was there so we stayed in a hotel... funnn. It was about 76 all day.

Wednesday
Wednesday morning I woke up nice and normal, no school alarm or nothing, and packed up and went back over to the house. We just kinda sat there until 11ish when the stuff that was in storage showed up. Then it was another 5 hours of sitting around WATCHING my stuff come off the truck. Then when it was finally over, unpacking....and lots of it. We didn't get to my BED though so I had to sleep on the FLOOR! Today was 82!

Thursday & Friday= UNPACKING ALL DAY AND IT SUCKED BECAUSE IT WAS HOT!!

Saturday
We got DirecTV today so it was kinda exciting. High Def so that's just great! Also since this house is a bit of a "fixer uper" now we've been hitting Home Depots and Lowes and Walmarts and Tagets and other stuffffff to get things for around the house. I've been so busy I haven't even gone swimming yet. Oh by the way I got my bed on Thursday so i'm sleeping cozy again.

Sunday
Today was pretty much like yesterday. Work Work Work. A litttttle bit more laid back though. Plus now I have the computer set up.
I've been getting lots of questions about 1st day of school and weather and stuff.
Tomorrow there's no school for any1, then tuesday i'm registering and getting schedules and what-not, then MOST LIKLY, Wednesday's my 1st day. And I would say the avg. temp is around 81 degrees. What is it up there? 18? haha.

Well I miss every1 and hoping to visit and stuff sometime. I'll put some pic's up sometime 2.

The End Is Near...

Hey, just got the word from my mom and apparently, if i don't have some kind of concrete plans for either Saturday or Sunday, I'm helping pack... alllllllllllllllllll day. ANY IDEAS?!

Well, illness has struck EG and wiped out a whole bunch of people. It's spooky! We still healthy must stay strong!

Also, to clear up any questions about my last day, I WILL BE HERE ON MONDAY. That is my final day in school. Then Tuesday morning I'm on a plane at 10am. For some reason nobody seems to get that.
